Key Requirements Of The Stability Certificate
When It Required:
The certificate must be obtained in several situation
Before a new factory begins operations
Before a factory license is granted or renewed.
When a factory undergoes major structural alterations, additions, or extensions.
After an event like natural disaster that could affect the building’s stability.
Who Can Issue It:
The certificate must be signed by a competent person, who is defined under the State’s Factory Rules, for which we take assistance from our associate civil engineers.
Validity & Renewal:
The stability certificate generally needs to be renewed periodically which is every three years as per Government of Tamil Nadu.
